    @dmob85 You can tell which drive it is the moment you open the disc tray. Just match the image of the disc tray to BenQ/LiteOn/Philips ones. It’s very distinct, or you can try opening up the xbox and there should be a label on the drive itself stating the brand name.

    @jerhmmmm You mean the driver? If the driver is broken I believe you can just replace it but you’ll have to make sure you’ve gotten all the flashed info out (meaning the serials # and etc). I’ve wiped my BenQ clean before but I had all the serial #s and flash files previously and it was still able to restore it back to normal so yea. If you want to make certain, you should check the IRC chatrooms. There are plenty of people around to help you with anything as well as materials like manuals.

    this video makes me want to cry. why does 70% of youtube tutorials consist of junk made in windows movie maker ect? there was a time when people put time and effort into videos so people can learn from the knowledge that they have. horrible vid

    @atm741 dude don’t give away your gamertag like that… microsoft doesn’t want people to flash mod, and youre giving away your gamertag on a modding video.

    @atm741
    Plug the Xbox drive into SATA port 1 or SATA Port 0 those are guaranteed to work, if it doesn’t then you have to buy a E-SATA thing.
